Afia Agyewaa

Afia Agyewaa (Patricia Nti) passed away on June 9, 2023. She was the eldest child of the Late Kofi Nti and Diana Bebose Nti and is survived by her siblings Kwame Okyere, Odelia Brew,
Winifred Awuah, and many other family members who cherished her dearly. Afia was born on March 17 th, 1965, in London UK. She attended Arm forces Primary and furthered her education at Holy Child secondary school. Cape Coast, she then proceeded to Government Secretariat for her secretarial trade. Afia was a woman of faith and a devoted member of the Pentecostal church at community 18 in Lashibi Accra. Afia was not only our oldest sister but a mother to us. She came through for us many times and came to our aid anytime we needed help. She gave us good counsel on how to become godly women and was known for her modesty; she had issues with her younger siblings wearing miniskirts. We can still hear her saying "Nana Serwa cover your legs, wear long skirts.' Afia loved us dearly but confidently walked in her faith by loving strangers more and readily opening her arms and doors to people she barely knew. Afia, we are mourning your physical departure from earth, but we take solace knowing that you are resting with mom, dad, and your maker. Many would say you left behind lessons, but we are here to say we will continue in those lessons that you faithfully taught us. We will grow in God, we will fight on, we will trust and believe in God no matter how dire circumstances looked; and we will continue to hope. You are forever loved, and the beautiful life you lived will be forever cherished by Many. Your family far and near have gathered here to say Damirifa Due Afia, now you can sing again, now you can dance again, make heaven proud of you as we always will be of you. Da Yie sweet sister.
