Patricia Ann Tucker

Patricia Ann “Patty” (Single) Tucker, 61, of North Windham, loving wife of 14 years of Terence “Terry” Tucker passed away suddenly on Friday, November 23, 2018 at home. She is survived by her daughter Courtney Stanley and her son Mathew Stanley. She is the daughter of Lawrence and Kate Ann (Lees) Single of Tolland. Our precious wife, mother and daughter was born on July 27, 1957 in Johnstown, PA and she moved to Tolland Connecticut at the age of 5. Patty was raised in Tolland and attended local schools throughout graduation. She was employed for many years at the UConn Storrs Campus and was “so” looking forward to retiring in 2019. Patty loved doing crafts as gifts as she was so very talented and creative. In addition to her parents, husband and children Patty leaves her three sisters; Libby Single of Mansfield, Kathy Bowser and her husband Tom of Hendersonville, NC, and Susan Robinson Louisville, KY, her sister-in-law Donna Stephens of Virginia, her uncle Raymond Single and his wife Rose and her aunt Marian Single all of Dunlo, PA, seven nieces and nephews who dearly loved her; Jason Cooney, Carissa Zlotnick and her husband Nick, Meghan High and her husband Chad, Jessica Howard and her husband Josh, Noel Griffin and her husband Daniel, Rebekah Robinson, and Isaiah Robinson, several grand nieces and grand nephews, many cousins and their families and her beloved cat Jack.. Calling hours will be on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 4-7 pm. at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St. in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, November 30, 2018 at St. Philip Church, 64 Pompey Hollow Road (Route 44) Ashford, CT 06278 (Everyone is asked to go directly to the church).
